The film was a beautiful love story and fairy tale. I enjoyed the performances all around and I especially loved Doug Jones as the creature and Sally Hawkins as Elisa. The creature's design was stunning and I loved how Doug Jones' performance shown through without being hampered. The film was simple, sweet, and effective despite some moments that didn't land strong.
