Wonderful performances, great cinematography, great cast. Although the plot differs slightly from the book and her relationship with her father is emphasized, the emotional arc holds true.

If you like the book, you'll definitely love the movie.

The Glass Castle movie was a good adaption of Jeanette Wall's memoir by the same name. The film included all the pertinent parts of the memoir given the time allotted. As a story itself, I found the memoir moving as it tells the struggles of a young women from childhood to womanhood growing up within a dysfunctional white family living in poverty.
