Great story but didn't care for this update.

Good movie. Athough this movie falls under those type of movies that do not need to be re-made because the classic stands alone. The dynamic duo of Roma Downey and her husband should be more focused on original stories or even similar stories, not on remaking classics. I understand what they're doing and why they're doing it but they could better capture the public's imagination with originals.

Good, they could have done without shoving Christianity down our throats though....

Liked updated story, teaching values; nice set/acting - better than anticipated.
