Too many details to tell, not concentrate on the main story. A bit mess. But good for women to understand how women live in the old day.

From Frances Ha (2012) and Lady Bird (2017), this was a let down. The double timelines make the movie drag. The juxtaposition only works with Beth's sickness and Beth's death. It took too long to build characters and relationship dynamics by going back and forth. However, the casting is PERFECT especially: Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh, and Timothée Chalamet.

I really liked it. Little Women was excellently cast and gave us laughter and tears in all of the right places. I loved the period costuming too! The only downfall is that it lacked continuity. It jumped around way too much. I have seen all of the earlier Little Women movies and have read the book and I had a hard time keeping up. The friend who came with me had not seen any of the movies or read the book. She was totally lost.

This movie was very good. I loved all the costumes. This helped me to understand the author of the book better.
