While I'm aware of how different the first film is with Stephen King's book, you just have to appreciate Stanley Kubrick's version of Jack Torrence which was intensely portrayed by Jack Nicholson. This spiritual sequel tried its best to honor both so whichever you love, there's something in this film for you.

I really liked it and thought that the villains were great.Dr Sleep looked good and the sound was great.

If you like lengthy psychic battles with good graphic special effects, this may be good.

This movie was very well done and was a good sequel to the Shinning.
