This is a great movie. Not only is the music amazing, the 80s fashion was captured without being over the top. I think it is an important narrative on things going on in today’s world. The discrimination that the family deals with for being different and Javed trying to find his voice. The family dynamics of a teenagers struggle to find himself and yet deal with cultural expectations.

Feel good, funny, poignant. You don't have to be a Springsteen fan to enjoy.
