Very moving. I was impressed with the special effects, sound effects of the storm, feeling the waves crashing against the wall, seat while watching. Acting was very good. Seemed a bit long but then I realized why near the end. Well made although the flashbacks could have been less frequent causing confusion but then that was probably the effect, to create the hallucination, confusion in memory

I thought that the movie was pretty good. This was based on a true story. The movie kept the audience interested as it moved on, so it had a good pace to it. The actors were all good as well. The ending was unexpected which the audience was surprised at. I would recommend this movie!

Liked the format of the movie. Flashing back and forth was well done. Suspenseful and good character interaction. Well cast.

I like the back and forth between present and past. The drifting scenes started to drag which is the only reason I did not give the movie 5 stars. Maybe the drag was intentional to create a sense of how long she was drifting Out there. Periodically going back to the past broke up the drag. The bits of humor helped me endure the horror of sailing into a hurricane and the tragedy I knew was coming. The movie kept me guessing. At the beginnng of the movie, I thought the guy (sorry, I am really bad at remembering names) died in the hurricane when we saw him sinkng, which surprised me because I got the impression from the movie description that he was badly injured but he survived. Then he was found floating and the girl rescued him. We are surprised again to learn that was all a hallucination. I am still confused about whether the story is based on a real people. At the end of the movie I got the impression that it was based on a true story and we saw the real woman about which the story is written. But in the credits it said that the people in the movie are fictitious and any resemblance to real people is coincidental. I guess I’ll have to google to find out if the story was about real people. Overall, it was a great movie.
