It’s difficult to provide a fair assessment of the film because every 3 - 15 seconds, the film froze. It took two and a half hours to watch the first 76 minutes of the film. With 38 minutes of the runtime to go, it stopped streaming altogether. My high speed internet was working without interruption so I can only assume an issue with ticketbox. Even with missing dialogue and the choppy view, I enjoyed what I could. I’ll rewatch when it drops on Amazon.

Art film, potentially interesting but hard to get storyline, premise. Interesting historical tho

It is a decent watch but not really anything to write home about. \rI enjoyed the thought of watching the intersection of these larger than life African-Americans play out but the plot never developed past much of what could be assumed after watching the first 15 mins of the film. There wasn't any real nuance behind the characters, no real "ah-ha" moment, or any additional insights or thoughts that came about after watching this movie. It was predictable, ant-climatic, and really just a solid background movie.

Pacing was even but dialogue heavy. Could've benefitted from deepening each character's backstory. Almost no sense of who these figures were outside of celebrity.
