I really enjoyed this film. I laughed and even cried a bit. This movie had a heart and soul.

I enjoyed this movie but it was a little bit of a let down based on the trailer and reviews I had read.I am seeing more and more movies that seem closer to dramas than comedies that are marketed as comedies. This movie was a dramedy where most of the funniest scenes were in the trailer. Some reviewers seem to think this is a classic high school comedy, and I think those reviews will lead to disappointed viewers.Hailee Steinfeld was outstanding as I expected, no surprise. I could relate to Nadine and thought she was a believable character. Woody was great and I wish he did more movies like this. The best unexpected pleasure was Hayden Szeto's character and his performance. Thank you for letting me see this movie. I will recommend it to friends but let them know a little better what to expect.

Hailee's performance lends to a totally believable tale of teen angst.

Good movie - should be must viewing for parents and kids... heartfelt and a good positive message - not to mention a lot of fun.Woody Harrelson was great!
