I enjoy dark comedy, but these characters were ugly people and the situations were too unpleasant to be funny.

I was incredibly excited to see this movie--but the tone shifts too quickly. The editors didn't give the audience enough beats to accept the revelations Frances McDormand (and others) experienced.

Very weird. Character study

I liked the concept of the movie, however the screenplay & storytelling were flawed. There were too many characters without purpose, while characters with purpose were under-developed/ utilized in facilitating the story. It seemed as though the writers set out to present as many offensive attitudes and characters possible, spanning race, gender, decorum, sexual orientation & genetics.
