I thought it was really terrific. Riz Ahmed is definitely my favourite lead performance of the year so far. This movie is a contender for my top 10 of the year I would think. Also, the song "Green" during the credits is really good and I already wanna download it and listen to it a bunch of times!

It won't be a film for everyone but for those, like me, who enjoy 'just a good movie' will be happy they watched it although the ending didn't surprise me at all and I had sort of figured that it was going to happen. I wear hearing aids and understand that at times it would be nice to just hear total silence.

Love the story. This is something I could imagine happening to someone. I did want more of an ending.

The film is beautiful, thoughtful, and directly puts you in the shoes of the main character as he struggles to adjust to a new life that is so far from the one he already knows and loves. The character depictions are nuanced and empathetic, and the director allows the audience to have quiet moments of observation instead of spoon feeding the story to you.
