Good drama and interpretation.

Adrift was a beautiful love story and one of perseverance and survival.

The switching between the present and the past is a little confusing. Overall I liked it as a love story rather than a real survival movie. Still can't figure out what happened to the guy when he died - did he jump into the ocean or did she push him in after he died?

I found this to be a harrowing movie, but loved every second of it !
