Despite the length of the movie - I really didn't notice the time go by. It was completely amazing as is. It was nice that we could see a bit of ourselves in each of the people portrayed. Just learned so much about fighting fires that we had no ideas about - and the dangers. Its as if we all trained to be hot shots. A very feel-good movie, with the audience feeling like one of the team until the very end when our hearts are wrenched out. A very fitting tribute to the Granite Mountain Hot Shots!

I'm not much of a reviewer, but I will say that I came into this movie with no expectations and left with a heavy heart. It was emotionally powerful and nearly brought me to tears. It was clear that the actors were chosen carefully to match the original firefighters as closely as possible. The director really did a wonderful job of capturing the adrenaline rush these brave heroes must summon to fight these awesome and frightening forces of nature. This is a can't miss film!

I wasn’t familiar with the Granite Mountain Hot Shot heroic yet tragic story. I found the movie did a great job of capturing the essence of what these brave did and what their families had to endure following their passing. Emotional story with a bittersweet ending.
