Enjoyed the story but the pace of the movie plodded along very slowly!

It was a very interesting story, and I do like period pieces, but it did move a little slowly. Overall, I did like it though.

Good,story telling, stuck to the facts, but a bit dry. The ending had already been in the media, though I really try & avoid trailers & spoilers. I doesn't help that the theatre ran the Lost City trailer over & over before the start of the movie.

The film had possibilities and at times was absorbing. The scenes with the native peoples were well done. Hard to identify with the main character who was totally self absorbed. Found the film overall tedious.The script wandered and the dialogue was wooden. Beautiful final scene though.
