Loved that the movie portrayed factual events. The details of Churchill's endeavors were so interesting. Will recommend this movie to friends!

Absorbing portrayal of Churchill and representation of the times especially the appeasement set. Thought it built up well to climatic speech. Thought the relationship between Churchill and his secretary was similar to the one in the BBC series showing his recovery from the stroke and the relationship with his nurse but that was OK. Have been telling friends about it and will see it again. Also rereading my Churchill bios to see how closely the film mirrored what happened. I particularlyliked how it portrayed his aloneness and lack of support within the government.
