It was good, but I liked the original better.

It was good at some instances but it falls flat without any logic and no meaningful setup

It was really flat for me. In the beginning you don’t really see how the girls get possessed. It doesn’t go into detail or background about the other girl in the story. You weren’t introduced into what demons the girls were possessed by and how they connected to Regan. There were a few scenes such as the priest death and the smoke from the girls and the fireplace that made no sense to the story.

The movie look like it would be amazing but the theater had technical issues with the sound so they kept pausing the movie and then replaying it and then they canceled on us and sent us all home and we didn’t get to watch at least 20 minutes of the movie. they told us they wouldn’t give us another day for the free screening, and that next time we watch it, we would have to pay.
