I didn’t read the book so the twist in the end was juicy. I love that the trailer didn’t give everything away. the actors played their characters very well and I enjoyed the dark comedy embedded in this psychological thriller. The ending was *chef’s kiss*. I watched this movie as a pre-screening perk. I would go back to the theater and watch this film again!

Fantastic slow-burn dramatic thriller that keeps you guessing until the very satisfying end! Superb acting from the entire cast. Amanda Seyfried's range is incredible, Sydney Sweeney mysterious and interesting. An outstanding follow up film for Brandon Sklenar after charming audiences in It Ends With Us. The film score and soundtrack, when present, was unobtrusive and fit the scenes beautifully, and the final song when the film ended was perfection. An absolute must-see!

Just finished The Housemaid — Sydney Sweeney’s presence (and silhouette) totally steals the film, and the tension feels like secrets hiding in every quiet corner. The gardener, honestly, is way too handsome for his limited screen time; he deserves his own cut of the movie. With an ending that feels like a half-open door, I wouldn’t be surprised if a sequel is coming...
