LIKED IT A LOT

Needs subtitles! I couldn't understand half of what they were saying...if the "language barrier" wasn't difficult enough, they also spoke so low and breathy that poor annunciation made it doubly worse. I started tuning out and falling asleep. As did several others who ended up leaving the theater early. Visually it was beautifully shot & I wanted to like it, but it's definitely not my top pick.

The actor's performance was adequate but had the result of sounding like they were reciting and sometimes lacked conviction. Cinematography and audio was fantastic. It was slow moving and the writers could have done a better job adapting more action and expanding scenes including with the witches and the wife/doctor scenes.
