I really enjoyed it. It was funny, sometimes dark, and empowering. Although life is full of struggles (sometimes with one's own family), fighting for your dreams is worth it when you're living in your truth!

David O Russell is getting more adventurous with his directing. JLaw was spot on as usual. Interesting story.

This was a really quirky and interesting movie. The acting was excellent and kept me invested throughout the whole movie. It was an amazing story of a woman beating the odds and negativity of her family to become successful.

Predictable plot, formulaic stock characters. No surprises. A very ordinary movie, more befitting for made-for-TV.
