Loved this movie. Very touching.

Carried by Riz Ahmed's performance, this film had a lovely organic flow. The story telling is more poetry than prose which created an inviting atmosphere. Ruben is a stubborn man tasked with adjusting to sudden deafness and it is touching to see him open up to the people that can help him find his way. It avoids the ham-handed "triumph over disability" narrative and shoots for something more authentic. Glad Ruben found a place where he could finally sit and be still.
