Étant un grand fan du film et le connaissant par coeur je suis très satisfait de cette adaptation! Ils ne peuvent jamais reprendre l’original a 100% mais j’ai adoré comment ils l’ont adapté. Les costumes sont beaux, les chansons bien adaptées, et la ville donne envie d’y aller et de sentir les odeurs, y manger et connaitre les habitants :)

At first I was skeptical of Will Smith being the genie but it was great I enjoyed the whole movie. The only thing that bugs me was the spinning camera work at the beginning I had to close my eyes as I get a bit motion sick easy. I went with my daughter and we both enjoyed the music she even saying along to A Whole New World!

They did a good job of modernizing the characters to be more relatable in our context. Genie and Aladdin were stars. Jasmine was okay, just came off more like a pop star than a princess. Theatres should confiscate electronics all the time. Keeps people from being rude and inconsiderate.

The movie was great! It was a bit slow in the beginning but once the genie hit the screen, it picked up. Will Smith was by far my favorite part of the film. He really nailed his character. It stayed true to the original while adding suitable different content.
