Great movie, entertaining and a good film script

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, a refreshingly beautiful, well-acted period film set in the 1870's. The scenery in the film was exquisite, and I especially enjoyed watching the nuances of emotion expressed on Carey Mulligan's face in her portrayal of Bathsheba Everdene. Matthias Schoenaerts was also outstanding as Gabriel Oak.

I loved the film! It was a beautiful tale of an independent woman who chose to follow her own path. If you like Pride and Prejudice and beautiful period pieces, you'll love this.
