Great film. The characters were authentic and the lead had chemistry.

It was very engaging\rReal to life\r\rGood acting, all around\rCatcher in the Rye was appropriate and relative to Boogies life - very clever plot with a plot !\r\rPrefer not having the foul language, racial background/tension poorly described or sex scenes portrayed in the movie - this made it R rated\r\rThe movie froze after Boogie received the full scholarship letter from St John’s so I didn’t get to see how the movie ended !! Disappointed with not seeing its conclusion

Just did not like the ending!

This was a great coming of age story. I enjoyed how determined Boogie seemed pursuing his aspirations of making it to the NBA, and getting into a college with a full scholarship.
