It's a beloved story and a wonderful family film filled with real American values.Even though I read the book, I found the jumping back and forth between timelines confusing, All were good actors. Personally I would have cast Emma Watson as Jo instead of Meg.

I found the movie to be too long with a lot of slow moments, and it was confusing from start to finish. Hard to follow what was happening in he movie. There was some good points within it, but not as easily identified as could have been.

I believe the movie was true to its original author but a bit slow.
