Clever movie. The ideal of using Springsteen and his lyrics to portray the difficulty of a second generation immigrant to navigate between his desire to have the same rights and aspirations as English kids, and his father’s expectations was smart and well crafted. Mostly funny, but also very effective of portraying a political climate that isn’t dissimilar to ours. My whole family loved it.
