As a further telling of the 7 Samurai the screenwriters have expanded the number of villains to be dispatched. the action is very faced paced, lots of quick cuts giving a frenetic tempo. I believe there should have been more development of the heroic characters and more motivation for their willingness to help the townspeople.

It was an excellent movie where you totally hate the bad guy and want to dig out his heart. (Peter Sarsgaard)Denzel Washington did a great job, as did the other actors.

It was a good movie. I like how some comedic lines were thrown in here and there.
