Excellent story with a great cast. Reminder me a little of Lincoln.

First, Thank you for the opportunity to screen the movie SELMA. The movie itself was great. That was history and how it was.

The section of Martin Luther King Jr they chose to portrait was perfect ! Watching was like be witness of a moment in time from the inside... deep, tragic, empowering and frustrating on and off... The points of view and slow motion at certain points emphasize that really well. David Oyelowo seemed to be trying too hard ... an accent too strong, he too mad compared to King's charisma

It was very good. I'm not sure how accurate the portrayals were, but it showed just how much the African Americans fought to get what was due them.
