I thought Boogie showcased some interesting perspectives regarding the American experience for several different people primarily the Chinese protagonist and his parents.

Predictable but highly entertaining film about the hopes & dreams of growing up Chinese in America. A glimpse of Chinese culture through the experience of the Chin family living in Queens. One boy’s American dream of a future in the NBA.

Nice plot line. Lacking a bit on direction and some acting, but all in all, worth watching. I enjoyed it.
