I thought this was a very powerful and emotional film. There were so many different ways this could have gone. The fight scenes were done very well (and I am not a boxing fan), and the heartbreak and despair really came through. I know that the characters could have been fleshed out more, and more detail gone into on different things, but if they had done that the movie would've been too long.

Movie was very good, but Jake Gyllenhal and Forest Whitaker were outstanding. Hoping they both get oscar nominations for these roles!
