Better than expected! Smart, edgy, and funny!

Cute rom-com with a few twists.

Went into this one expecting your typical young adult rom-com, but it turned out to be a real visual treat. The directing, sound mixing, & set design/visual effects are all really fantastic and it really made the world come to life. Culture and class commentary are well-incorporated, and the film really manages to hit those topics without feeling heavy-handed and without losing its sense of humor. I wish we'd gotten a little more content about his dreams, the sounds in his head, and his mom (instead of the romance) — because those are really the best parts.
