It was enjoyable when only the characters were on screen. The battle in the "Mech-suits" myself and my 8 year old son found very confusing as to who was who, where they were and what was happening. A little too manic. It lacked some of the heart that the Lego Batman Movie had, as well as the humor, but still got a few belly laughs out of me. My 8 year old son said it is #2 out of the 3 Lego films.

It's a good enough kids movie, although lacks a bit of the something that made the original lego movie or lego batman movie entertaining as the grownup who is accompanying the kid

it's good if you like the lego series
