It was a great movie with a great message behind it. As a Christian I loved how the main character never sweared or cursed. I'm not sure if others noticed how they didn't show a actual "Love scene" till after the couple was married. Which I felt put proof of his faith and beliefs. As a man I love the war scenes! I don't think I've seen anything as good but saving private Ryan. I WILL WATCH AGAIN!

I don't watch a whole lot of TV, so I wasn't aware of the Hacksaw trailers. I was absolutely amazed! From the storyline to make-up, everything became one so seamlessly. I was pulled into the story with the cast. It was so emotional. I felt destroyed for the loss, but was filled with hope for the saved. The actors did an outstanding job! I plan to see in theater again and purchase on Bluray.
