The dramatic pauses and the looks between the characters were eye-rolling. Really did not help the movie. Was it bad acting or bad directing? Who knows.Also, the movie was too long. Could have been cut down without the dramatic pauses and extreme close-ups of people looking at each other.

i do not recvomend that booring movie. we left after 910pm as it felt like it was still after more then 1.5 hrs tryibg to become some kind of interesting. the acting was good the plot/storey line was dead slow .. .. just FYI. i am not reccomending......

It dropped crucial subplots from the book that played to the emotional depth. You could only invest in the characters if you were familiar with them from reading but a film should stand on it's own.I was disappointed.

Very interesting... but not my type of film. Too much profanity, too much drug use and it was boring.!!
