I felt that the characters were very well developed which made the ending of the movie have more of an impact on the viewer. I also learned a lot about the commitment, dedication, and training that the firefighters must have in order to be prepared to combat the fires. In the wake of all of the recent wildfires that we have had in Northern California, this movie certainly will make an impact on the audience and our firefighters will gain a whole new respect and admiration for what they do.

The movie will make you cry. Character development of Eric and his wife were amazing. You could not miss the close knit town. The marriage of Eric and his wife was not overly romantasized. The loss of the Granite mountain hotshots was felt immensely because the commraderie and the relationships.

Only the Brave is not a film you go into thinking you're going to come out high on happiness, but it does have enough light moments to help relieve the stress of the subject matter. I learned a great deal about what firefighters go through while fighting a fire, how deep their relationships develop with their 'brothers', the emotional tug on their families and the ultimate selfless bravery they present in the face of danger. It is a very well made movie!

Its a good movie with great actors. I would have liked to have seen more fire fighting.
