Very compelling.

It was a touching film and faithful to the novel.

As it was based on a true story, I'm sure many folks can relate to growing up with an alcoholic parent. And if you think you're a victim, it only takes a choice/decision to become a survivor and perhaps even a great success.I think this movie is an inspiration to those who believe they do not have that choice.

Very good, although portrayed the mother as more sane than she seemed in the book. Woody Harrelson was excellent. Possible Oscar worthy performance
