Hacksaw Ridge had it all. Great war story filled with heart. Andrew Garfield did a fantastic job portraying real world war hero, Desmond Doss. The movie is part love story and war movie. Love the transition with boot camp. There was also a fair measure of humor thrown in throughout the movie which was welcomed due to the brutal depiction of the bloody war scenes.

Genre: DramaMel Gibson did it again a great film to watch. The story of a brave soldier who was persecuted by his religious beliefs, only to receive the admiration of his fellow troops. There is no holding back on the truths of war, when it comes to the gruesome body parts, violence and burning soldiers. I give this a movie thumbs up!!! A Must See!!!!

Hacksaw Ridge was amazing! The script, the acting, everything about this movie is a must see!

Do not walk to the theater to see this movie-RUN!!! One of if not the best movie I've seen in my life-I don't know what more I can say-from the beautiful visual scenery to the devasting realities of a war this movie was absolutely fabulous
