Slow pace. I had sound issues with my laptop and appreciated the subtitles. Maybe it was appropriate to not be able to hear. I didn’t really like the lead except when he worked and played with the kids. Not clear why he sold everything to get the implants. But it seems he regretted that decision?

I really enjoyed the movie!! There aren't' many movies being made that focus on the deaf community. Wish the ending was different but I guess that leaves room for a part 2.
