I really enjoyed the movie and found that it was a good follow up to The Shining.

I enjoyed the movie and thought the acting was great but the story was too long! I feel like if you going to drag a movie out that long you have to add more scares to keep me interested

Loved the creep factor and that they kept the movie in tune with Stanley Kubrick's original vision, the music, sound and visuals. I really enjoyed it. I would say however that a person who hasnt seen The Shining original, would get lost by not understanding the background of Danny and the shine and the characters from the Overlook. I dont think it will pull off well as a stand alone. Great fl

Much better than we even expected! Superb sequel capable of standing on its own. Disturbing in all the right ways.
