The movie was good I just had to keep reminding myself that there would be no happy ending guaranteed.

Matthew Mcconaughey was great and carried the film. The story didn’t go into enough depth on explaining the situation and the key players. It also could’ve expanded more on life in Detroit and poverty in the US. It had a few good scenes but overall didn’t come together as a whole.

It was a little slow in parts. Never told what happened to the sister. But over all a good movie... didn’t go where I thought it was going to go.

It was interesting and sad but very real. A very good what not to do movie.
