As a person with hearing loss, some perceptions of cochlear implants is inaccurate. As such, implants are covered by insurance, the sound quality of someone just activated with implants isn’t quite right either. But, the message does get across that it doesn’t sound “normal” right at activation. \r\rA great movie that shows the picture of living with hearing loss at minimum. Thank you for this movie as a way to educate others!

The movie shed a light on cochlear implants. Definitely a movie for those that have family members that have them. Riz Ahmed was exceptional. One criticism would be is hair color remained the same but yet days, weeks and months passed. Only until the surgery did he shave it.

I could not get it to play on my tv. That was disappointing because I am able to get similar type links on my tv from AARP.\r\rI enjoyed the movie. Great acting, fabulous sound. Wonderful character study. A better understanding of the deaf community and of cochlear implants.

Really enjoyed the movie. Great acting, engaging story and enjoyable characters. My only issue was not knowing how much time had passed.
