I really enjoyed this film, as it shows the delicate balance of both family life and wild fire fighting life. Coming into the movie, I did not know much about the Granite Mountain Hotshots and the Yarnell Wild Fire. But upon leaving I truly respect the wild fire fighters even more, and would thank them for their service.

A bit long and very depressing, but strong performances and very relevant given what's currently going on in Napa, California. I learned a lot about these guys and have a newfound respect for their selfless efforts.

Loved that the film took time to build the character stories. The film made you fall in love with the characters only to break your heart when they died. And my heart was definitely broken. Superb acting by all cast. My only wish is that the film made a quick reference to all active firemen who are currently battling the fires in California as it would have made a huge impact with our government and cry for assistance.
