A really good start.I really liked it. Can't wait for chapter 2!

The horror effects were amazing, characters relatable, Pennywise was creepy and terrifyingly outstanding, the story was well adapted, and that fighting between the kids and Pennywise and the beat down was extremely Satisfying. That opening sequence caught me off guard. Well done!!!! I would put this film in IMAX immediately. Invite me to the double screening anytime. A++ SK be extremely proud!!!!

IT was quite the experience. The movie had excellent pacing and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I enjoyed how well everyone portrayed their respective characters. At one point I forgot I was even in the theatre! This is a fantastic film that I will be recommending to everybody that I know.

I loved IT. Granted, I'm a big fan of the book and the King universe in general, so I admit to WANTING to love it... though that did no favors to the Dark Tower. But I have zero immediate criticisms of this first half. Well-acted and scripted, refreshing in its R-rating without being indulgent, beautiful set pieces and imagery, EXCELLENT practical effects, and Pennywise was fantastic!
