Aniston was extremely funny. Slow beginning, but picks up.

Mother's Day is not a deep film requiring silent reflection and critical thought. It will not win any acting, direction, or writing awards. It is not all about mothers. The film *is* a light-hearted, entertaining escape from reality, recognizing that family relationships can still be quirky and funny in 2016. 3.5 stars
