It was pretty cheesy and relied on jump scares. Some the cheesiness was funny, which still made it entertaining. I didn't find it scary. I wouldn't recommend my friends to see it in theaters-- more of a rental/streaming movie.

An above average ghost story film that uses jump scares a little too much but is saved by the story and the acting. Particularly Raymond Cruz who stole the show and Linda cardellini

Wasn’t what I expected. More funny then scary

It was fine. It was really well filmed and acted but the first half with the random llorona jump scarea felt like they had no pay off. The secon half, whenever the curandero starts to help was better overall
