If it weren't for the star power of Halle Berry, this would have been a Lifetime movie. I thought that repeatedly while viewing along with wondering why one child was worth all the collateral damage. This movie fits in the summer movie lineup where action films abound but would be lost in the award season lineup.

Intense thriller. Halle Berry continues to shine. Similar to her role in The Call (2013) but there were differences. Being the mother rather than an operator increased the intensity level of the film. Too bad we can't rate 1/2 stars. Good but not quite 4-star worthy.

A little to farfetched. Reminds me of the old show chips.

Don't think i would recommend at theater because i hate to say that a 90 min. movie does not justify the cost of an evening ticket. However, even if they made the movie longer, it would just be filler as i think the plot and the action made the most of the time.
