Excellent film and the acting was extraordinary. 2020 needed a movie like this. We haven’t had a love story like this since the notebook and love Jones. Well done.

Sylvie's Love had me in my feelings, but it was a WHOLE love vibe! This is an extraordinary movie that highlights overcoming obstacles in the complicated decisions of pursuing love and achieving success. Bravo to Nnamdi Asomugha and Tessa Thompson! With all the chaos of 2020 it felt good to get invested in a love story that made me remember that romance in the Black community can exist. The soundtrack and wardrobe of the characters elevated my appreciation for the setting.

Sylvie’s love is refreshing and perfectly cast. The story is one that isn’t often told. I enjoyed revisiting the fashion, artistry, and complexities that shaped our generation.

A true classic love story that warms your heart!
