The film had it's problems. The court setting made it spend most of the film re-telling the first film. One shot at the beginning of the movie made the ending obvious to me (and others). However, I still liked the film. The musical numbers were good. The acting was great. Even though the story was week, the writing was pretty good.

A bit of a mess all together but has some great aspects. Gaga and Phoenix are great but they always are. The musical moments worked great. The direction was overall great but the story felt hollow and was a little too much courtoom,.

A deeply flawed film that had potential, but it fell flat.

What's up the movie was pretty good. I feel like a lot of people are going to end up not liking it because it's a musical but honestly I enjoyed the all the music.
