Enjoyable flick, is always hard to meet expectations against a known story. Had a good pace and put the story into action without trying to flesh out all the details. It's a movie for 90 minutes of fair entertainment and while the overall set of books deserves more time, have to start somewhere and it did that well enough.

The much awaited and anticipated The Dark Tower has finally arrived on the big screen. If you are a Stephen King fan, you wont be disappointed and if you don't know a thing about this movie, you also won't be disappointed. It is the classic battle between good and evil, The Gunslinger, played by Idris Elba, must stop the Man in Black, Matthew McConaughey, from destroying the Dark Tower, which is the only thing holding the universe together. A great movie from start to finish, loved it, go see it
