Good, good, good! Having read the book and listened to the audiobook many times, including finishing a re-read last week to prepare to see the movie, I was really impressed. Much like The Martian it had an excellent balance of staying true to the book in a way that didn't alienate non-readers, but also not creating a direct scene for scene remake. The use of comedy throughout the movie is maybe slightly more overplayed than in the book, but it does not take away from the experience in any way, and if anything, makes the more poignant and emotional scenes more powerful for their change of pace.

I thought the movie was excellent. Speaking as a science teacher, he portrayed the role of a science teacher very well. He was very likable, and his sidekick was extremely well-loved in the theater. The movie provided pay-offs to everything it brought up.

Absolutely amazing! Must see!

Loved it. Funny and heartfelt. I liked how it mixed non-space and space time throughout the movie rather than a linear story.
