I didn't know what to expect. The premise of the story is actually pretty interesting and timely and it reminded me of a lot of contemporary ethical issues. It is not simply a regurgitation of the earlier movies. The movie is quite action packed and fast paced. There's also some comedic moments. I really enjoyed it as it showed the human side (good and bad) of apes!

Great effects. Strong characterizations and an engaging storyline. You really feel sympathy for the Apes and the humans trapped in a situation not of their making, and striving to overcome obstacles with mercy.

It was a great movie. The perfect amount of humor, excitement & thrill. Would watch again. I love Planet of the Apes.
